Many Beast Makers are very earthy hues, such as green, muddy purple or blue, brown, or deep crimson. Some resemble toxic amphibians and reptiles, with bright colors to warn predators that they're not to be trifled with. Many Beast Makers are seen with potions, bucket hats, and accessories made from various animal parts such as claws, fur or hide pelts, teeth, and even eyes. Each and every Beast Maker has an intricately-carved or decorated staff, which is instrumental in their druidic work. This staff can be made from wood or bone.
The Beast Maker's hearthworld is not for the faint of heart. A gigantic jungle-swamp with green and black ooze makes up the majority of their realm, it has served as a death trap for anything not used to dealing with sludge and deep waters. Visitors are advised to keep to the patches of dry ground, and not to wander. These safe-zones are connected by split log bridges, be them floating in the ooze or built onto the land. The Beast Makers live high above the swamp itself, in an aerial village built atop the many gigantic limbs of a jungle's enormous trees.

Responsible for the care of mundane and magical wildlife, Beast Makers are a rowdy bunch who rely on transmutation and alchemic magics for their work.
Beast Makers are the ones you call if there's a cranky basilisk or manticore in your backyard, or a stubborn griffin that refuses to get off your roof. Beast Makers also care for unbonded sparks, and are the ones who help many wayward sparks find a suitable egg to bond with.
